As wonderfully distinctive as the ambience, dining at Galle Heritage Villa offers an eclectic mix of cuisine both traditional and new.  You can settle for true Sri Lankan home style cooking; try out some authentic local recipes from the Southern region or opt for firm favourites from the East or West; even enjoy some high tea in the true old fashioned way. While there is a menu, you are welcome to talk to our chef and create your own if you wish to.

Where you take your meals, is also up to you. The dining room is spacious and filled with light during the day and cosy by night or you can settle for some al fresco dining. But if you feel incredibly lazy you can of course have your meals in the privacy of your room too. Take a picnic lunch and have it where you wish, or indulge in a candle lit dinner on your terrace or treat yourself to some fine dining at the sumptuous restaurants at Jetwing Lighthouse, just a hop away.

Being at the Fort itself, you have a wide choice of restaurants and bars offering fare of every kind and to suit every budget too. From fashionable five star restaurants to humble cafes serving up spicy local delights – they are certainly options that will tempt you when you wish to dine away from the villa.
