Situated very close to the busy Southern city of Galle, travel to and from Jetwing Kurulubedda is rather convenient. Sri Lanka’s main motorway, the ‘Galle Road’ passes nearby, and the 146 km drive from the airport follows this route all the way from Colombo onwards.
The city centre of Galle, where the nearest train and bus stations are situated is just a few kilometres away. All trains and buses heading to and from the Capital Colombo stop at Galle – even the express and intercity services to destinations further on.
If you decide to choose this mode of travel, you can always arrange for a pick up, or take a quick trishaw ride to Jetwing Lighthouse, and then a short boat ride from the nearby pier will take you on to Jetwing Kurulubedda, however, a short drive is also an option if you prefer to travel by land.
