Snug along the Western shores of the island, on the golden coasts of Negombo, the weather forecast is generally bright and blissful. Warm sunny days and crisp clear nights are more or less the norm with tropical temperatures prevailing throughout the year – wavering between 26c -31c during day time and cooling down to around 24 c at night especially with fresh breeze blustering in from the Indian Ocean.

Sri Lanka does not experience clear cut seasons, being close to the Equator and the climate is hot and humid and feels like perpetual summer every month. However, wet weather must be expected during the monsoon months.

Being on the west coast, Negombo is affected mainly by the South-western monsoon from June to October, and sporadic showers can also be expected when the North-eastern monsoon drives in over the hills from December to March. However, generous helpings of wonderful weather with clear blue skies and warm glorious days are yours to enjoy at Jetwing Sea nearly all year.
