Famously revered as the birthplace of our legendary hospitality, Negombo was once a traditional fishing village that faced colonial occupation, and has since transformed into a hive of commercial activity on the northwestern coastline. As one of the largest cities in Sri Lanka, Negombo is conveniently connected to the rest of our island – including the capital city via a 30-minute drive on the Katunayake Expressway.
