Bimal

Bimal Mallikarachchi possesses close to 10 years of hands on experience at the operational level of hospitality, beginning his career at The Privilege, Wadduwa. Initially focusing on Houskeeping, Bimal has successfully completed Basic Level courses in Professional Cookery, Restaurant & Bar Service, Hotel Housekeeping, Hotel Reception as holds a Management Diploma in Hotel Housekeeping from the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management.

Presently a Training & Development Manager for Jetwing Hotels, Bimal is ideally placed to guide the next generation of hospitality leaders, with further experience as an Assistant Lecturer in Hotel Housekeeping at the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management, as well as completion of Trainer Development programmes and industrial training.

Malinda

In the field of hospitality since 1999, Malinda has experience in Housekeeping, Front Office, and Kitchen departments at properties such as Taj Samudra, Riverina, Tamarind Tree, and Hilton Colombo Residencies. The perfect blend of book and street smarts, Malinda holds a Diploma in Hotel Management, and a Diploma in Teacher Training from the Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management of Klessheim, Salzburg, Austria, is a Certified Hospitality Educator (awarded by the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Washington D.C.), and a graduate of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management. At present, Malinda is following his Masters in Human Resource Management at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
