Executive Chef – Saman Villas

We are looking for a young, passionate chef below 40 years of age with extensive experience in high-end luxury resorts and restaurants in Sri Lanka and overseas, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, to join our team at Saman Villas. The candidate should have a proven track record of excelling achievements and a strong desire to delight guests. While exposure working under a foreign chef is essential, recognized professional qualifications will be advantageous.
Candidates with expertise in fine-dining, and all-round knowledge and experience, with exceptional creativity and a flair to create menus and dishes according to guest requirements are welcomed to apply.


  • A professional qualification from an accredited University/ Hotel School in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management
  • Good customer service skills and the ability to lead and manage a diverse group of people
  • Effective communication skills and fluency in English is a must
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for menu planning
  • Effective organizational and administration skills
  • Strong understanding of Food Safety Management Systems
