The picturesque upcountry landscapes that surround us are made up of tea plantations, rolling hills, waterfalls, and a number of colonial bungalows in Nuwara Eliya and beyond. Our home prides itself on being a cool escape from the tropical island heat yet remains warm with the welcoming hospitality of Meena Amma at any time of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Our resident neighbourhood of Ambewela is fondly referred to as \u2018Little New Zealand\u2019, and is defined by its picture-perfect meadows with grazing cattle and verdant tea plantations all around.
