Jaffna Fort

Jaffna Fort, the second largest in Sri Lanka, covers 55 acres and features a star-shaped design with limestone ramparts, tunnels, and a moat. Built by the Portuguese and rebuilt by the Dutch, it has seen destruction during the civil war but remains a historic military and architectural landmark.
