Jetwing Colombo Seven partners with the Battle of the Saints

Jetwing Colombo Seven, a premier city hotel by Jetwing Hotels, is proud to announce its partnership as the Hospitality Partner for the historic 90th Battle of the Saints and 50th limited-over encounter between St. Joseph’s College and St. Peter’s College, two of Colombo’s most esteemed Catholic schools. Jetwing Colombo Seven is delighted to support the two teams led by St. Joseph’s College Captain Lahiru Amarasekera and St. Peter’s College Captain, Sri Lanka Under-19 player, Vishen Halambage.

At this highly anticipated two-day test match the two teams will compete for the prestigious Rev. Father Maurice J. Le Goc Trophy and will be held at the SSC on March 22nd and 23rd, 2024.  Following the test match, the milestone one-day encounter, played for the ‘Father. Peter A. Pillai Memorial Trophy,’ will mark its golden jubilee on April 6th, 2024, at the same venue. This match holds the distinction of being the first school rivalry to achieve this remarkable feat since its inception in 1975.
