An 80 km drive from the Bandaranaike International Airport the journey South is certainly an interesting one. The road is ‘escorted’ right along the way by the Indian Ocean and the rail track that runs beside it nearly all the way down. The hotel has a waterfront from one side and the road leading on the other giving you the choice of reaching it by vehicle or by boat. You can take the long way and drive round or take a short hop on a boat from the jetty across.
